Kirina's Closet

Waddell and I server transferred from Lightninghoof to Tichondrius (last night). We are now a part of the top-guild Monolith….well, Waddell is an actual raider, while I’m still the wife on friend status ^_^ (I like it that way). It’s sad leaving Praetorian and the comfortable world I knew, but, everyone needs a fresh start.

However, Kirina’s new name on that server is “Kirinia”…not much of a change, I know, but this site is still Kirina’s Closet, and her name will always be Kirina in my heart.

I had to leave behind A LOT of stuff on LH T-T . It’s going to take me a while to build up a wardrobe collection that I had. Meanwhile though, Merlaina has taken over her sister’s bank alts, and, we will probably see more of her in the articles to come.

…Well, I have been for about a week and a half now. Waddell is being strict and keeping me focused on my summer classes instead of things I would enjoy (as he should), so, as a result, I am slowly working on some new articles for this site. Meanwhile, I did consolidate the Around Town and Specialty sections, and, I hope that makes finding outfits more stream-lined. I also gave a home for all the guest-written articles under one page under “Fashion”. I also wrote up a short My Own White Wedding article for your viewing pleasure.

This post is just to let all of you know that 1) Waddell and I are getting married on May 22nd (coming up fast!!) and 2) we are leaving for our honeymoon (7 day cruise) the next day.

With all the last minute wedding details, moving the last of my stuff, and the wedding+a week away, I won’t be around to write/maintain the forums much until the beginning of June. I had hoped to squeeze out another article before leaving, but, it looks as though that’s not what my time is for right now 😀

June is also the anniversary month for this site; June 27th marked my first post, and June 29th was the first article for the site. Aaah, where does the time go? ^_^

It’s the little things I do in-game that make World of Warcraft fun for me…like how I logged in to Kirina this morning, May 5th, and said, while wearing the full Haliscan set, “Arriba! Happy Cinco de Mayo!” and then dropped Kirina’s Ogre Pinata. I got a couple of /cheers, a couple of /lols, someone one-shot the pinata, and everyone took some of the candy that burst from it ^_^

If your character has the Ogre Pinata, I suggest doing something along the same lines for a little Cinco de Mayo fun; however, having it one-shot kind of took away the exciting anticipation of hitting said pinata until the candy would explode out. Oh well.

“Teehee!”

Also, if you do not have, or know someone in-game that does not have, either the Haliscan Brimmed Hat or Don Carlos’ Famous Hat, why not get together for a Old Hillsbrad – Caverns of Time fun run, or solo Don Carlos for a little bit of Cinco de Mayo fun by yourself. It’s well worth it!

….well, at least for Kirina’s Closet. LoL, the article is finally up! And…hopefully it’s worth a little bit of something ^_^
