The Pilgrim’s Bounty event started today for 2010! Yea!

I have already done all the achievements and have gotten all the items on Kirina, so, for me to have fun this year at the event, I’m focusing on my Human girl, Lafaunda (yes…Napolean Dynamite ^_^ I thought it was a cute name for her).

Anyway I put together a quick outfit for her to wear while she work towards her Pilgrim outfit, and this is what I found happened to the Journeyman’s Vest

I love this look! I hope it’s not a bug. I wrote about something like this about the Gossamer Tunic in my Fall outfit article, but, that chest-piece was “broken” in that it did not fill in the shirt below the belt (it was just flesh colored without a shirt equipped). I hope this look is here to stay, and occurs with more of our favorite chest-pieces.

If anyone has more information (like if this look only happens for only girl characters or guy characters), or if you know of other chest-pieces that this is happening to, please let us know ^_^

….Or “Hallow’s End night”, which ever you prefer ^_^ That’s the last day of the Hallow’s End Costume Contest, so, be sure to get your costume in soon if you were planning to participate! I really wish I’d had more time for Hallow’s End this year. I wanted to do a “Hallow’s End Party” article, but, never got that far out of school work to do so. I’ll probably post it up later…after Hallow’s End…when all the excitement as gone away T-T

/Sigh. I had just enough time this week to knit this little guy up (and you can too) and send it to my grandma (she loves Halloween too ^_^). I’ve been busy with a lot of exams this week….but that’s all over today! Yea! Well, just until finals come up…which Cata releases right in the middle of. So…guess what I won’t be doing come that time (for all those who said “she won’t be studying”, shame on you! ^_^ )

November should be packed more with new stuff. It looks like I will have more time for “leisure activities” then. The calm before the storm…..

I was browsing through WoW Insider and found this article “A Rare and Beautiful Collection“.

It’s a spotlight on Drrum, a companion pet collector that also has matching outfits for each pet. It really is quite amazing, and, I hope it inspires you as much as it inspired me. ^_^

I’ve been browsing Wowhead’s Cataclysm site for some time now looking at all the new additions (well, what they have so far) to have in the next WoW expansion. I WANT IT ALL!!!!

Here is a list of things I absolutely want, and, maybe so will you! Of course, I stayed primarily with main fashion items, but, there is a mount in there, too. I also tried to stay with non-quest reward items, but, some of them may end up being quest rewards once the expansion is actually out; the model of the items may also change. Browse the Wowhead site yourself, if you haven’t already, and tell us what you are looking forward to (even if it’s not armor related).

• Embroidered Shirt – Tailoring – Beautiful for both guys and gals. On guys it’s more of a dusty black and gold, while on girls it’s white/gray and gold.
• Elegant Bracelets – Jewelcrafting – Same model as the Antique Silver Cufflinks (for now), but, it’s always good to have an alternative.
• Jeweler’s Emerald Monocle, Ruby Monocle, Sapphire Monocle – Jewelcrafting – Same model as the Noble’s Monocle (for now), but, again, alternatives FTW!

Off-hand Frills
Hopefully I’ll be able to get these…if not, I’ll be sad.

• Unidentified Eating Utensil – Another cooking outfit, anyone?
• Spring Gadget – It just looks cool ^_^

Mounts/Pets
I know there will be more to come, but these are what are up for right now:

• Subdued Abyssal Manta Ray – The pictures show a manta ray similar to the nether ray flying mounts from the Sha’tari Skyguard in BC. But, the model viewer, and comments suggest it summons a FREAKING SEAHORSE. I want this first!! LoL
• Withers – I don’t know if this is Alliance-only or not, but, it’s still a cool alternative to the Teldrassil Sproutling for those players unable to get the latter.

I am proud to say that I have won 2nd place in the Pugging Pally’s Paladin Outfit Contest Vidyala held on her blog! All the entries were wonderful paladin outfits, and, I could only imagine the tough decision the judges had.

I had a lot of fun putting together these outfits for the contest. The first place winner’s costume was more of an Argent Dawn paladin outfit (great lore, btw). And third place was won by Kamalia with her beautiful Horde paladin outfit. But, go see for yourself ^_^ All the outfits have what descriptions, too!
