Kirina's Closet

Kirina’s Closet is introducing a new addition to the site. Under each different sections for my outfits (around town, holidays, etc.), there is a link to the Guest Writers’ Page – which houses all the articles of that section that were written by readers/guests of this site. If there isn’t a guest writers’ page under a section, it means YOU haven’t written one yet ^_^ . Find out how you could contribute to this site by visiting the forums and checking out the Guest Writers Board.

Don’t let the word “article” scare you off. Writing for this site is as simple as:
1) Taking pics of your outfits in an area of interest (there are some listed on the site that we could use, or you could do your own take of what’s already posted on the site, OR write a little something of your own unique outfits).

2) Posting the pics, and a description of what armor makes them up, to the forum. If you want, you can include other items that could be substitutes, what you like about the outfits, etc.

3) Relax and wait for your article to be posted on the site. I do the hard part with all the linking and laying out your pics/info on a page.

So, yeah, easy. And it can be as long as you want it to be. The guide-lines sound a lot more strict on the forums, and they still sorta apply, but the steps above are essentially what needs to happen. Come on and join the writing fun! It’s very rewarding to see your character, your outfits, and your name on it all on a live site – where others can and will read/embrace your work ^_^

Hopefully, by this weekend I’ll have my Hallow’s End article up for some new content to the site. It’s not that I haven’t had them ready…it just requires a lot of time to write up something good.

But, there have been people writing up on the forums. Check out the guest writing section for a great preview of what’s in store soon for mail/plate armor and professions. Add your own while you’re there!

Omg! Getting a great response to the Hallow’s End Costume Contest. ^_^ It’s only been live for about a week, and already there are a lot of costumes and specialty-type outfits to go through. Nice work to all of you who’ve submitted a costume, and, I hope there’s more to come. To those who haven’t submitted one, or don’t know what I’m talking about, check out the post below to get started!

…but the fun found at Kirina’s Closet is just beginning! (I’m corny sometimes ^_^)

If you haven’t noticed, the Hallow’s End page is now linked in the World-Event~Holiday section…just to entice you with what’s in store starting Oct. 1st (tomorrow!…but not as soon as 12:00 a.m. tomorrow ^_*).
Hmmm…there’s Kirina’s same ol’ “outfits”…but, what’s this?? A contest?! LoL…go see for yourself.

Also remember to check out the forums. Kamalia has posted a great color coded index, listing many RP clothing items. There’s also been new, and insightful, responses to old topics. You’re welcome to hang out and post your own RP experiences/outfits as well. ^_^

There’s still one more week of Brewfest! I updated the article to include some recent Brewfest pictures, and added some new items.
