Hallow’s End Costume Contest ~ 2011

This year, Waddell and I brought in two other judges (long time Kirina’s Closet readers) to help us decide the contest winners – Hyacintha and Kamalia. Even with having two other people’s opinion, the decision was still very difficult for all of us. Each year, the number of entries has increased – this year there were 75 costumes to consider! And, once again, the caliber of costumes increased in creativity and presentation has increased, as well.

I do want to say to all those who didn’t win this year, please know that your submission(s) was(were) greatly appreciated, we hope you had fun making your costumes, and we hope that you come back next year and join in the Hallow’s End costume fun again!

2011 Winners:

Something different that we haven’t done in the past was an “Honorable Mention” category. These were the other costumes that came down into each judge’s top 10 that made it hard to decide final winners. In fact, it was rather hard to pick a top 10 anyway with so many great entries!
