Kirina's Closet Community / Fire Mage Robes
« on: September 04, 2011, 10:25:49 AM »
Hello again, community! I have a very complicated request!

I would like five or six different robes that would suit a female Fire Mage. I've made a new character (Lucia Quickbolt) and part of her backstory is that she's a student at the Stormwind Mage Academy. As I level her, I want to be able to reflect her increase in power in her clothing. Hopefully, the robes should start around level 10 to 15 and go all the way up to 80-85. I would appreciate if we could keep the PvP rewards to a bare minimum, but otherwise, anything goes.

Muchas gracias!

Kirina's Closet Community / I'm alive! Sortof.
« on: April 10, 2011, 01:05:24 PM »
I'm alive! And I missed this place!

Alenei is alive, too! Sort of. Except that she's not she. She's a he. And human. Yep. Goodbye Alenei di Capernio, hello Erich Langsden! So, any outfit suggestions for a grandfatherly former poacher, now legitimate hunter?

Your WoW Outfits / Plate Bikinis
« on: April 27, 2010, 01:59:14 PM »
... I require them.

A friend and I are opening a bar. We're going to have a monthly "Warrior's Reward" night: warriors and guards get a discount, and the dancers all wear plate bikinis.

I already know about the Battleforge Set: definitely getting that. But anything else?

Seems like almost everyone's been groping about not being able to find a matching knife for the Loot Crazed Diver.

Does anyone know what kind of clothes Chief Officer Coppernut wears? I know she's got the tuxedo shirt, but what about the jacket? She looks like a flight attendant.

Kirina's Closet Community / Shorts Help
« on: January 15, 2010, 03:12:11 PM »
I recently found a pair of wonderful pants. The Gossamer Pants turn into shorts when worn on a female character. I sooooo want to wear them to an event on the 27th on my server, but... my character is only level 20, and the Gossamer Pants *sniff* require level 42.
I need your help, guys! I need shorts under level 22!

Okay, fellow Hordies and/or Alliance people who did this quest and threw away the boots, get out your palm branches, for I am boot queen.

Human Warrior's Recruit's Boots.

I am in love. They are beautiful. They're a bit more brown, but I actually prefer them.
/beautiful stamp.
Actually, only females who wear these boots get the stamp. Men... go put on some shoes.

Suggestion Board / More Profession Outfits, Please
« on: August 12, 2009, 05:52:52 AM »
Can we?

Leatherworking:
Something with REALLY BIG gloves and one of those masks that goes over your lower face like the Red Defias. Leatherworking has lots of nasty chemicals.

Jewelcrafting:
Might be tricky... eh, something with Noble's Monocle and an offhand magnifying glass, if there is one.

Alchemy: Done.

Blacksmithing:
Leather pants, possibly Dark Leather. A chest that looks like an apron, if there is one (dunno). And of course, Blacksmith Hammer.

Enchanting: Not really good enough. I'd say, find Alanna's Embrace.

Inscription:
Something small, mousy, inksplattered-looking if there is such a thing.

Tailoring: I'm going to go and offer mine after this.

Ooh! Riding!
Something with short leather pants an' fingerless gloves.

Thankee!

Kirina's Closet Community / Baggy Math
« on: July 31, 2009, 03:15:52 AM »
Ready for some out-of-school, willing mathematics pertaining to World of Warcraft? Watch as the bold numbers grow...

The largest bag the can be bought has 22 slots.
There are 4 bag slots on your person and 7 bag slots in the bank. That's 11 bag slots.
22 x 11 = 242.
But wait, there's more. 16 slots in your backpack, and 28 slots in your bank make 44 more.
Add them on, and you're up to 286.

Server economy varies, but the average price for a Glacial Bag (the cheaper of the two 22-slots) is about 600 gold.
600 x 11 = 6,600 gold.
Add 111 gold for bank bag slots, and the total price is about 6,700 gold.

Still not happy? Okay. Let's say you have a guild that's all yours- nobody else.
You could buy 6 guild slots at 98 slots each.
That's 588 more slots.
Add that on, and you're up to 874 bag slots.

Cost? 9,350 gold, bringing the total up to 16,050 gold.

What? you cry, I have enough money to buy that AND a hundred Traveller's Mammoths! Okay, smarty pants.
10 characters are allowed per realm. Let's say you have your main, and an alt, or a gold bag.
That's 8 possible characters, at 286 bag slots each.
That is 2,288 more slots.
Added to your current 874, that is 3,162 bag slots.

Ready for the money moment? *drum roll* 60,300 gold.

A WORD OF WARNING: DO NOT DO ALL THIS!
The strain of buying 100 of the most expensive bags will rip your server's economy to shreds!
This is a thought exercise only! I repeat, DO NOT DO ALL THIS!
I'm sorry, but you have to either be very careful, buy the materials slowly, and have a tailor make the bags in absolute secrecy, or NOT DO ALL THIS!
